Between 1890 and 1913 the Church of Scotland issued an series of reward stamps. These early Cinderellas may have been used for good work as well as Sunday School attendance. Published for the C of S by banknote engraver Gilbert E. Oliver, most years saw only five new designs but were Issued on a variety of colored papers and with different colored inks.
