Product Description
1939 Artist signed (printed on "Alexander Berth") poster of FDR (Franklin Delano Roosevelt) as "The Pilot of Our Lifeboat", "America" in the stormy sea. On board are injured people, and refugees including an orthodox Jew, a scholar, and a nun. In the distance is a pirate ship with a jolly roger flag, except, instead of cross bones below a skull, it has a nazi swastika below a skull. This poster measures 12 3/4x 16 1/2 inches, and had to be scanned in parts, hence the lines which are not on the poster, but a result of my joined scans.
